Part of the A96 is currently closed after a four-vehicle crash involving a lorry and three cars earlier this afternoon.

Officers were called to the scene near Colpy, Insch around quarter past 2.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told Northsound News

"Around 2.15pm on Thursday, 12 January, 2023, officers were called to reports of a crash involving a lorry and three vehicles on the A96 near Colpy, Insch.

"Emergency services are at the scene.

"The A96 is currently closed in both directions between the A97 and A920 junctions."
