Biker seriously injured after crash in Aberdeen

A motorcyclist is seriously injured in hospital after a crash involving a car in Aberdeen.

It happened on the A96 Great Northern Road around 6:55pm on Thursday, September 29.

The 35-year-old, who was riding a black Triumph motorbike, collided with a silver Toyota CHR car.

The driver of the car was not hurt.

Constable Matthew Lawton of the Road Policing Unit in Inverurie said: “Our enquiries into this collision are ongoing and I would urge anyone with information to get in touch.

“We would be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam or other footage from the area around the time of the collision.

“Anyone with information can call police on 101, quoting reference 2847 of 29 September.”
