Man hospitalised after Aberdeenshire crash involving two lorries and car
The road remains closed between Toll of Birness and Hatton.
One man has been taken to hospital after a collision between two lorries and a car in Aberdeenshire on Thursday morning.
Emergency services were called to the A90 near the Toll of Birness at around 10.40am.
Officers confirmed a 64-year-old man has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
The road remains closed in both directions between Toll of Birness and Hatton and drivers are being told to expect delays.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police were called to a road crash around 10.40am on A90 near Toll of Birness involving a two lorries and a car. Officers attended and a 64-year-old man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
“The A90 is currently closed between Toll of Birness and Hatton.”
In a post on their website, Traffic Scotland said: "Road users are advised to expect longer than normal journey times and use the local diversion route."
