900 Jobs Could Go From North Sea
It looks like there could be hundreds of redundancies at a North Sea oil firm. Rowan Drilling has sent notices to employees at risk of redundancy. And it's believed 900 workers could potentiallly be affected. They run three drilling rigs in the North Sea. The firm's told Northsound the number of redundancies depends on their ability to source further contract work. It comes as exploration firm Trapoil warns they face going out of business - they lost more than 44 million pounds last year.
