8-year-old girl struck by car in Aberdeenshire

The child was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary to be checked over following the incident in Fraserburgh.

An 8-year-old girl has been involved in a collision with a car in Fraserburgh

She was struck by the vehicle on Robertson Road, near Lochpots Primary School, earlier today at around 3:15pm.

The child was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary to be checked over.

We understand air ambulance was in attendance earlier.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 3.15pm on Wednesday, 15 November, police received a report of an eight-year-old girl struck by a car on Robertson Road, Fraserburgh.

"The girl has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary to be checked over."
