£6,000 drugs haul found in Aberdeen

A 32 year old man has been charged and is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today, Wednesday, 24 May, after drugs including heroin worth approximately £1000 and cocaine worth approximately £5000 was recovered from the Summerhill Road area of Aberdeen.

The recovery was made on Tuesday, 23 May, as a result of an intelligence led operation.

A high four-figure sum of cash was also recovered.

Detective Sergeant Bruce Buntain said: "We are committed to disrupting criminality associated with the illegal supply of drugs in communities and reducing the harm it causes.

“We will continue to act upon the information you provide, to carry out searches under warrant and take illegal drugs out of our communities.
