A man has been found dead at an Aberdeenshire home.

Emergency services were called out to the Broomhill area of Fraserburgh last night at around 8:05pm.

Upon arrival, a 45-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police Scotland say the death is being treated as "unexplained", but there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.

A spokesperson said: “Around 8.05pm on Tuesday, 25 June, 2024, police were called to a report of a man found unresponsive within a property in Broomhill, Fraserburgh.

“Emergency services attended and a 45-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene,

“There death is being treated as unexplained, however there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances, and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
