A pharmacist from Aberdeen has been ordered to pay £432,000 after forging prescriptions for drugs he later sold on for profit.

At Aberdeen Sheriff Court today, Conrad Chau was made subject of the Confiscation Order. It’s after he pled guilty to a string of fraud charges last October.

The offences took place in 2013 while Chau was owner of the Holburn Pharmacy. He admitted twelve charges of fraud, two charges of attempted fraud and one charge under VAT legislation and was sentenced on 4th November 2016 to 20 months imprisonment.
