Over £100,000 worth of drugs recovered in Aberdeen

Seven people have been charged in relation to a major drugs recovery operation in Aberdeen.

Seven people have been charged in relation to a major drugs recovery operation in Aberdeen.

They're aged between 24-39 and are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court later today.

Substances recovered in the operation included Heroin, Cocaine, Diazepam and Cannabis.

Detective Inspector Stuart McAdam said: "There will be no let-up in the fight against drugs and we will continue to target those unscrupulous dealers who bring illegal substances into our community. "I would like to take this opportunity to thank the public for their continued support as we attempt to rid their neighbourhoods of this menace."
