The X Factor 2018: 9 acts you NEED to know about
A Pop Idol reject, a Robbie superfan and a familiar '90s dance diva
While we're still clinging on to summer, but now that Love Island has finished and Celebrity Big Brother only has another 10 days left, it's time for another of favourite TV shows to start - The X Factor.
Here at Northsound 1 we've had a sneaky watch of the first episode which sees new judging panel Robbie Williams, Ayda Williams, One Direction's Louis Tomlinson and Simon Cowell scour the country in search of the next big popstar-type; and it did not disappoint!
If you want to avoid spoilers, we'd suggest you look away NOW.
However, if you just can't wait to get a sneak-peak of the new series, then take a look below and remember, the series starts tomorrow on ITV at 8pm, with a second episode on Sunday also at 8pm.
Here are 9 X Factor acts you NEED to know about:
Miss Understood
Duo Miss Understood are Jeff and Stefan from London. They perform original song Juicy Fruit and, honestly, you'll be humming it for days. You'll probably end up spontaneously flossing, too. DON'T RESIST IT.
Andy Hofton
Andy's a Customer Sales Advisor from Macclesfield and, yep, he's a Robbie Williams superfan. After Simon puts a stop to his original track Castle of Love, Andy joins Robbie on stage for a special duet. We'll give you one guess which song they performed.
Janice Robinson
50-year-old Janice is from Garfield, New Jersey and you might recognise her from that 1994 Livin' Joy bop Dreamer.
Molly Scott
Molly's 16 from County Durham. Hailed a 'young Christina Aguilera,' she performs James Brown's Man's World.
Danny Tetley
Benidorm bar singer Danny first auditioned for Simon Cowell seventeen years ago on Pop Idol. After being rejected almost two decades ago, will his cover of And I'm Telling You win over the judges?
Livia & the Elementals
Move over, The Pussycat Dolls; Livia & the Elementals are here for your crown. Ahem.
Kezia Povey
Kezia might only be 15, but her cover of Callum Scott's You Are the Reason has us bawling our eyes out (for all the right reasons.)
Charlotte Lee
17-year-old student Charlotte bonds with Louis Tomlinson over their hometown of Doncaster, but is her cover of P!nk's What About Us enough to win over Robbie, Ayda and Simon?
Ross Alexander
Put it this way, Ross is no wallflower. That's all we're saying for now.
In other X Factor news, previous contestant 'Tesco' Mary Byrne, from The X Factor's 2010 series, has recently unveiled her dramatic transformation! The singer appeared on Loose Women showing off a brand new hair colour and revealing she's lost a massive four stone.
Confessing that it was down to her health, Mary revealed she'd been diagnosed with chronic arthritis which had been improved by the weight loss, adding that she'd decided to "do something about" her weight after failing health.
