With just days to go until one couple are crowned the winners of Love Island 2018, we'd be stupid to think that bosses of the show were going to let them just enjoy their last few days in peace. That's exactly what is NOT happening, as an almighty twist is set to rock the villa.

WARNING: The below article contains major Love Island spoilers.

Following the aftermath of Dr Alex dumping Alexandra Cane, the remaining couples will discover the news of a shock dumping, that THEY are forced to vote for.

Bosses at ITV have confirmed that on tonight's show (Friday 27th July), all of the remaining couples will have to vote to dump one of their fellow couples.

A text arrives into the villa reading, 'Islanders, tonight each couple will secretly vote for one couple that they think should be dumped from the island. You must now discuss in your couples who you are going to choose and why, before submitting your decision via text. You must not discuss your decision with anyone else. The couples with the most votes face being dumped from the island #thefinalcountdown'.

With only five couples left in the villa and all of the remaining Islanders being the best of friends, it's sure to be an incredibly tough decision for all involved.

Discussing who to dump, Josh says to Kaz, “Let’s just go through it couple by couple, and the pros and cons of each I guess.”

See which Love Island 2018 couples have remained together since leaving the villa:

Ellie Brown and Charlie Brake

After realising Dr Alex wasn't the right man for her, Geordie girl Ellie coupled up with Chelsea boy Charlie. After dating for a number of weeks in the villa, Charlie asked Ellie to be his girlfriend with a little help from the rest of the boys...
