Love Island fans gutted as there's 'no Christmas reunion show' this year
Viewers like to see what the Islanders have been up to
The Love Island summer series seems like it happened years ago, tucked away in distant memories up and down the country. But as Christmas is approaching, we remembered we'd soon get our Love Island fix when the 2019 stars return for the special festive reunion episode.
However, it looks like our dreams might be shattered, as it is now being reported there won't be a Christmas episode to look forward to, as the show's bosses are "too busy focusing" on Love Island's Winter series which is set to air in January.
And to make things even worse, it's been said the Islanders aren't happy with the show and have claimed the ITV producers are "ignoring them."
A source told OK! Online, "The cast don't think there are any plans for a Christmas reunion like last year, but they haven't been given a straight answer. A few of the Islanders have seen the producers since leaving the villa and there was a bit of a reunion at the ITV Palooza last week and the topic was brought up but quickly shut down.
"Questions were asked about the possibility of an on-screen reunion, but they were all ignored by producers."

But fans of the show don't have to wait that long until Love Island is back on our screens anyway. While there has been no official confirmation about an air date, it's rumoured the show is returning on 8th January 2020, with those who are working on the show, jetting out to South Africa on New Year's Day.
A source told the MailOnline, "The new Winter Love Island will launch the second week of January. It has been decided that the show will run six weeks instead of the usual eight."
The source added, "The new cast of singletons fly out just days before the launch but bosses work with test Islanders to uncover the best spots in the villa to create drama."
