There's a strange reason why Ant McPartlin's watch is covered up on I'm A Celebrity

Eagle-eyed viewers of the I'm A Celebrity spin off show, Extra Camp, will have noticed that Ant McPartlin's watch was covered up recently. There have been a number of rumours about why this might be, including the possibility that the show isn't live.
Hosts of the spin-off show, last year's queen of the Scarlett Moffatt, and Joel Dommett addressed the subject head-on and revealed that the show is completely live.
The reason behind covering Ant's watch is quite unusual, and it affects all those who are in regular contact with the camp mates. Speaking on Extra Camp Scarlett said, "Now, I can reveal, the reason for this is, is actually, we are live, that's why we make lots of mistakes.
"It's so the camp mates don't know the time, so all the watches are covered for the people that see the camp mates all the time, like Ant, Dec and Medic Bob."
She went on to explain, "I think it's just so you're really disorientated, like we had no concept of time. I always remember, and I don't know if I'm allowed to say this."
Remembering her time in the jungle last year Scarlett said, "We all once went to bed at around 4pm and you obviously in there by yourself, but they did have to say, 'Guys, it's a lot earlier than you think.'"
So there we have it, they aren't trying to fool the audience, more the camp mates!
This isn't the first time viewers have questioned what they have seen on the popular TV show. In the opening week of I'm A Celebrity a viewer spotted what appeared to be an inconsistency with the Walk The Plank challenge. In the photo posted on social media a woman can be seen walking past, however she appears a lot bigger than she should be, if the planks were hundreds of feet above the ground.
In other I'm A Celebrity news Rebekah Vardy has become the latest celebrity to leave the jungle after Jack Maynard was removed on day three and Shappi Khorsandi and Kezia Dugdale were voted off.
Appearing on I'm A Celeb: Extra Camp Rebekah seemed to blast camp mate Iain Lee, calling him 'fake'. She later went on to reveal she thinks Iain is playing a massive game when she added, “I have spent a lot of time with Iain and I was so careful what I said on the VT and what I didn't but now I will let it out."
