Zayn Malik announced to read a CBeebies Bedtime Story this week
He chose Music is in Everything by Ziggy Marley
Zayn Malik has just delighted fans by releasing his brand new solo album called 'Room Under The Stairs', and now fans of the singer will get to enjoy more from the singer, who has been out of the limelight over the last couple of years.
The 'What I Am' singer has been announced to read a CBeebies Bedtime Story, following in the footsteps of the likes of his former One Direction bandmate Harry Styles, as well as other singers such as George Ezra and Ed Sheeran.
On Wednesday 22nd May, Zayn will read a book by Ziggy Marley (Bob Marley's son), called Music Is Everything. Zayn explained: "I chose this book because I love Bob Marley, and because music and reading are both important to me as a parent.
"I sing to my daughter at night-time when she goes to sleep and I read to her at bedtime too. I feel like this will be something really cool to show her, so I’m up for reading a CBeebies Bedtime Story!"
Away from the TV, Zayn has just released his fourth solo album, since leaving One Direction. The singer has described this album as is 'favourite album' to date, and explained in a video for his fans: "I think the intention behind this album fully is for the listener to get you know, more insight on me personally as a human being."
CBeebies Bedtime Story is on each weekday at 6.50pm on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer.

Coldplay will set new sustainability standards when they release their next album in October 2024, called 'Moon Music'. The band's album will be available on four physical formats, however there will be a limited release in order to reduce waste. They vinyl version of their album will be made from recycled plastic bottles.
Shawn Mendes

Shawn Mendes will release his fifth studio album, 'Shawn', in October. The album features 12 songs including 'Why Why Why' and 'Isn't That Enough', which he will release on his birthday (8th August).
Olly Alexander
