Rihanna unleashes Paul McCartney & Kanye West collaboration
‘FourFiveSeconds’ is available to download right now
Barbadian superstar Rihanna has unleashed her first new song in over two years – ‘FourFiveSeconds.’
Well worth the wait, the stripped back acoustic track sees RiRi join forces with Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney and hip-hop hero Kanye West.
Rihanna broke the news last night, telling her 39.8million Twitter followers: “FIRST GLIMPSE AT MY NEW MUSIC!!!”
The tweet links through to Rihanna’s official website where fans can download ‘FourFiveSeconds’ from iTunes right now.
Sir Paul provides the guitar lines on the track, while Kanye raps alongside Rihanna’s trademark, unmistakable vocals.
Last week unconfirmed reports emerged that Rihanna had created music alchemy with Florence Welch, of Florence & The Machine fame, on a new track.
Details of the track remained unclear, however some fans speculated that the track samples Florence’s gargantuan anthem 'Only If For a Night', which appeared on her acclaimed album ‘Ceremonials’.
‘For Five Seconds’ marks the second time Kanye West and Sir Paul McCartney have come together in the studio – they collaborated on the single ‘Only One’ dedicated to the rapper’s daughter North West.
