Rihanna Premieres Visually Stunning 'What Now' Video
The latest offshoot from RiRi's 2012 album 'Unapologetic'
Rihanna has unveiled the stunning video for her latest ‘Unapologetic’ offshoot ‘What Now’.
Filmed in Thailand, the incredibly understated video is predominately shot in a stark white room with Rihanna at the centre of the camera throughout.
As the song reaches its driving climax, clips of lions, insects, birds and cockroaches are interspersed with the footage.
Ahead of its premiere this afternoon, Rihanna said of the video: "It's going to be eerie - kind of creepy. ‘What Now’ is one of those songs that you could get really boring with the video.
"It could almost be expected. Everybody is probably expecting a narrative type of video - a love story of some sort. Something really soft and pretty. It is pretty and kind of soft, but it's really a little demented."
Released exactly one year ago, ‘Unapologetic’ has now achieved double Platinum status in the UK selling over 600,000 copies.
