Mabel, the singer behind hits such as 'Don't Call Me Up', 'Tick Tock' with Clean Bandit and 24kGoldn, and 'Ring Ring' with Jax Jones, has been taking a bit of time away from releasing music, until now.

The singer, who released a series of songs from her album 'About Last Night...' back in 2022, has taken to Instagram to explain what she's been doing for the last 18 months, and what treats she has in store for her fans.

In a lengthy statement, Mabel wrote: 'I've spent the last 18 months focusing on my family, my health, my happiness and of course my MUSIC.

'I started my career almost ten years ago and moments of peace have been far and few between. I don't really know if anyone knows who they are in their 20s but the only way for me to start figuring that out was to turn down the noise. The peace has brought me clarity but that wouldn't have happened without the help of my amazing family, my beautiful man, his family, our wonderful friends and of course YOU.'

She went on to say: 'Don't think that I don't see your messages wondering where I am, how I am or asking for music and don't underestimate how much that means to me. You are my why.

'Like why do I even do this when it scares the s**t out of me sometimes. YOU are why!

'As much as l've needed this time there's also a part of me that definitely has been trying to get every part of it perfect for you'.

She then continued on a second slide: 'so l don't let you down but l've come to the conclusion that the only way this is going to work is if we do it together. I definitely don't have the answers on how to navigate this industry anymore but I do know that it will be a hell of a lot easier with you by my side.

'The music l've made over the last year makes me so happy. I have so many stories to tell you and secrets to share and th I just wanna connect with you all and vibe to some good songs.

The singer went on to reveal that she's launching a new platform and anyone who signs up to it in the next 24 hours will get some new music. She explained in her statement: 'Anywayyy conclusion is I'M BACK and let's do this thing together. I've created a new platform called 'This One's for You' and I want to see all you guys there. In fact, for anyone who signs up in the next 24 hours, I'm going to send you some brand new music - direct from me. The link is in my bio I LOVE YOU Mx'. (sic)
