Little Mix are currently in the recording studio, making music for their much-anticipated fifth album, having just completed their 'Summer Hits' tour of the UK. And whilst details around the upcoming album are scarce, band member Jade Thirlwall has just dropped a pretty major bit of juicy gossip around the record.

According to Metro.co.uk, Jade has been uploading snaps to Instagram from the studio, revealing on one posted today (30th July) that they only have two more recording days left - which means that the album could be released much sooner that fans originally thought!

Although the photos and captions are nowhere to be seen, it will be fantastic news for Little Mix fans who have been patiently waiting for another album since 'Glory Days' was released in 2016.

This comes after Leigh-Anne Pinnock confirmed in March that the album would be released this year, saying, "So weā€™ve got the new album coming out this year which is really exciting. We start writing it... basically, March, when we get back to work. Then the tour will follow the following year. Basically, weā€™ve got our lives planned out for the next two years, but itā€™s great.

"Itā€™s more of the same in the sense that we love inspiring people with our music. Thatā€™s what we do. Definitely more girl power. Definitely more of that sort of inspirational message that we love to do."
