The truly magnificent Coldplay have announced their A Head Full Of Dreams Tour! Hurrah!

Taking in 20 stadium shows across 14 countries in Latin America and Europe, the UK leg opens at Manchester Etihad Stadium on Saturday 4th June before taking in Glasgow Hampden Park (Tues 7th June) and two nights at London Wembley Stadium (Thu 16th/Sat 18th June).

Tickets to all shows go on sale from Northsound 1 Tickets at 9.30am on Friday 27th November.

This is the band’s first global tour since the kaleidoscopic Mylo Xyloto Tour in 2011/12. They chose not to tour their sixth album, 2014’s gorgeous and plaintive ‘Ghost Stories’, in favour of hitting the studio to record blockbuster follow-up ‘A Head Full Of Dreams’.

Singer Chris Martin explains: “I think that not going on tour with Ghost Stories was one of the best decisions we ever made, because it gave us such pent-up energy in the studio and completely reignited everyone’s desire to go around the world and play music.

“A Head Full Of Dreams was written as a record to be performed live. We can’t wait to do that.”
