'Shotgun' was George Ezra's third single from his second album ' Staying at Tamara's', which was released in 2018.
George's song was certified 4× Platinum in the UK and reached Number 1 both in the UK and a number of other countries around the world.
9. John Legend 'All Of Me'
John Legend's 2013 hit, 'All Of Me' was featured on his fourth studio album 'Love in the Future' and reached Number 2 in the UK.
Selling a massive 1,800,000 units, the song was certified 4x Platinum in the UK.
'All Of Me' was accompanied by a music video set in the days before John's wedding to his fiancée, model Chrissy Teigen.
8. The Killers 'Mr Brightside'
'Mr Brightside' was The Killers' debut single and what a single it was! The single was originally released in 2003 achieving minor success, but after a re-release it saw huge success and is now one of the UK's Top 15 rock songs to be downloaded.
The song was certified 5× Platinum in the UK and reached Number 10.
6. Drake Featuring Wizkid & Kyla 'One Dance'
Released just four years ago in 2016, 'One Dance' was a Number 1 hit for Drake here in the UK. The song remained at Number 1 for 15 consecutive weeks.
7. Pharrell Williams 'Happy'
Not only was Pharrell's 'Happy' one of The Biggest Hits of the 21st Century, it was also a GRAMMY Award-winning song, picking up the GRAMMY for Best Music Video in 2014.
The song has sold 1,922,000 units in the UK and became the biggest selling song of 2014.
5. Ed Sheeran 'Perfect'
Ed Sheeran's 'Perfect' was written about the singer's wife Cherry Seaborn. Three versions of the song were recorded, including one with Beyoncé and another with Italian singer Andrea Bocelli.
The song was also the 2017 Christmas Number 1 in the UK.
4. Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee, Justin Bieber 'Despacito (Remix)'
Cast your mind back to the summer of 2017 when a remix of Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's hit 'Despacito' was released with Justin Bieber...
The song took over the airwaves and clubs around the world, as well as fitness classes and beach bars, so it's no surprise that it has ranked very highly in just three years.
The song hit the top spot around the world and was certified 5× Platinum in the UK.
3. Ed Sheeran 'Thinking Out Loud'
Ed Sheeran features for the second time in the Top 10 of The Biggest Hits of the 21st Century. 'Thinking Out Loud' was released in 2014 and featured on his second album '×'.
It was a huge hit around the world selling and streaming more than three million copies in the UK alone.
2. Mark Ronson Featuring Bruno Mars 'Uptown Funk'
Released in November 2014, 'Uptown Funk' was a massive hit from Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars. The song reached Number 1 in 19 countries including the UK, and reached the Top 10 of 15 others!
The song even broke its own streaming record in the UK three times.
1. Ed Sheeran 'Shape Of You'
With a massive 14 songs in The Top 300 Biggest Hits of the 21st Century, is it any real surprise that the top spot goes to Ed Sheeran?
The ever-popular singer has been crowned King of The Biggest Hits of the 21st Century so far with his 2017 Number 1 hit, 'Shape of You'.
The song was released along with 'Castle On The Hill' which featured just outside the Top 10 at Number 13.
The music video for 'Shape of You' has now has more than 4.7 billion views on YouTube and the single won a GRAMMY Award for Best Pop Solo Performance in 2018.
The song also spent 14 non-consecutive weeks at Number 1 in the UK.
Just before 6pm today we revealed that Ed Sheeran's hit 'Shape Of You' was The Biggest Hit of The 21st Century so far. Ed appeared a massive 14 times in this chart, way out ahead of the others, with Adele, Calvin Harris and Coldplay all appearing seven times.
