Viewers were left in tears
This Morning hosted their first live wedding today for a couple who have been fighting a traumatic cancer battle.
Gareth Lewis and Annie Cain tied the knot on a boat on the River Thames in a ceremony which left viewers of the show in tears.
The loved up couple had planned to get married a few years ago but after Annie was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer, the wedding was put on hold.
Annie's since been given the all clear, which led Gareth to propose to her with a Haribo ring after he found out he'd won the show's competition to win a wedding.

The show’s producers went all to make sure their special day was one to remember. Fashionista, Gok Wan, was on hand to style the pair for their big day as well as professional make-up and hair stylists in attendance.
Show presenter, Rylan Clark-Neal, joined the happy couple on the boat as the wedding commenced. An emotional Gareth wiped away his tears as his stunning bride walked down the aisle and both held back their emotions during the ceremony.

After the emotional ceremony, presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield joined the couple for their reception with the bride gushing about the moment. She said “It was amazing. It’s like a dream still isn’t it? It was beautiful, thank you.”
Fans of the show also expressed their emotions and enjoyment at the stunning moment, taking to Twitter to send the couple their congratulations and clearly there wasn't a dry eye in the house.
The special day didn’t end there for the newlyweds. Peter Andre joined the celebrations by singing ‘Fly Me To Moon’ as the couple enjoyed their first dance and then they were given a surprise trip to France for their honeymoon.
