Kensington Palace has shared the first photos from the special day of newlyweds Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, after they tied the knot on Friday 12th October 2018.

The photos were shared on Twitter by Kensington Palace and have racked up thousands of likes and retweets from fans and well-wishers. The first photo posted was of Eugenie, Jack and their bridesmaids and page boys, which included Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

The caption read, "Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank have today released official photographs from their Wedding Day. Prince George and Princess Charlotte were Page Boy and Bridesmaid respectively for the ceremony at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle. #royalweddding'. (Did you notice the extra 'd' in the hashtag of the tweet? Oops!)

Another tweet from Kensington Royal account listed who the bridesmaids and page boys were, 'Front row (left to right): Miss Mia Tindall; Miss Savannah Phillips; Miss Maud Windsor. Back row (left to right): Prince George; Princess Charlotte; Miss Theodora Williams; Miss Isla Phillips; Master Louis De Givenchy.'

The second photo shared featured Eugenie, Jack and the extended members of the Royal family including the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh.

Fans took to Instagram - where the photos were also officially posted - to leave comments. One wrote, 'Princess Charlotte sits like a royal already!' and another wrote 'The most beautiful wedding ❤️ was thrilled to be able to watch'.

The photos were taken by British fashion and portrait photographer Alex Bramall.

Princess Eugenie previously received praise from the public for choosing to wear a low back wedding dress which showed off her scar from a surgery that took place in her teenage years.
