Watch our interview with the movie legend
Liam Neeson has revealed that he prank called his Taken 3 on-screen daughter Maggie Grace’s ex-boyfriend!
The Irish movie legend was chatting to us about being asked to constantly repeat the infamous "I will look for you, I will find you and I will kill you” phone call by his character Bryan Mills in the first Taken movie when he made the confession.
“Oh my gosh if I had a penny for every time I’d left a telephone call message from Taken 1 on my son’s friend’s answer machines I’d be rich!,” he laughed.
“Actually Maggie, I hope she doesn’t mind me saying this, she had broken up with her boyfriend – this was about a year-and-a-half ago I guess – and she was visiting me in New York and said ‘Would you leave me a scary message for him?’ and I did!
“This poor guy freaked out, y’know, ‘You’re messing with my daughter, I know where you work’, and I knew his first name and said the place where he worked and stuff.
“I really got into it, Maggie’s face just turned purple. But it was ok he got a great laugh out of it… it saved the relationship I think.”
