Everyone loves a celebrity transformation and former Grease star John Travolta is the latest to unveil a new look for the New Year. Posting a photo of himself wearing a tuxedo, standing alongside his daughter, John wished his fans a 'Happy New Year', revealing himself with a bald head.

John's new look was greeted with a lot of surprise, but it also is seems to be quite a hit with fans, who have left comments such as, 'You look devastatingly handsome. Seriously, you get better with age. The bald head suits you', and 'That suits you 👍'.

John Travolta first rose to fame in a number of popular 70s film including Saturday Night Fever and Grease where he played Daniel "Danny" Zuko, where he had a full head of hair.

However, he did shave his head for his role in From Paris With Love, in 2010. At the time, John revealed he liked the bald look saying, "I like it a lot, because it's a bald look and it allows me freedom to be bald.

"Just like in Pulp Fiction, this unusual kind of Dutch haircut gave me a kind of Euro-trash feeling to the character, this hero hitman."
