John Goodman shows off incredible weight loss at Trumbo premiere

Acting legend John Goodman showed off his dramatic weight loss at the London Film Festival premiere of his new movie Trumbo.

Looking dapper in a sharp suit on the Leicester Square red carpet, the 62-year-old Roseanne, The Big Lebowski and Monsters Inc. star has shed several stone in less than a year.

John has always been open about his weight, telling US chat show host David Letterman in 2011 that he was pushing 29-stone at his heaviest.

"I'd get off of Roseanne every spring. I'd lose 60 pounds every spring but I'd gain it back and then some, every year," he explained. "It's going to be an ongoing process for the rest of my life."

Set for general release in early 2016, Trumbo stars Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston as 1940s screenwriter Dalton Trumbo who gets imprisoned for his communist beliefs. John plays producer Frank King in the movie.
