While there is no confirmation of a UK tour we really hope they'll make it over this way as they had three number one singles here including 'Doctor Jones' and 'Turn Back Time'.

Although the group have been around since the 1994 under a different name it was in 1997 that they rose to fame with their single 'Barbie Girl' which even reached the top ten in the US, almost unheard of by a European act back then.
Aqua released three number one singles from their album 'Aquarium', but subsequent releases failed to get the same success in the UK and after the group's initial success in the late 90s they separated in 2001.
In an interview at the time with Billboard they said, "We have looked each other straight in the eye and reached the conclusion that, for the moment, the spark is missing."
After a break of a few years Aqua reunited for the 10th anniversary of 'Barbie Girl' in 2007 embarking on tour of Denmark and in 2011 they released 'Megalomaniac' which was popular in Denmark.
