5 Seconds of Summer post cryptic tweet

What could it mean?

Published 16th Oct 2015

5SOS have posted a cryptic tweet which has sent their fans into a frenzy.

The tweet was a simple image saying #DontGottaSayAnything with two sets of numbers below.

The numbers relate to the longitude and latitude of a location near Rio de Janerio, Brazil.

Looking on Google Street View the location given appears to show a wall covered with impressive street art.

In the opposite direction the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue can be seen which overlooks the Brazilian city.

While loads of fans have found the location online, we have yet to see fan photos from the location.

Last month the Australian boy band announced their intention to extend their secretive street art project in the run up to their new album.

This project has involved them releasing the coordinates of street art which can be scanned by an app called Blippar. Once scanned the user will be rewarded with a short video from the boys.

In a statement the 'She Looks So Perfect' singers said, “from now up until the album comes out, we’re gonna be telling you where you need to go to find the street art. We want to see photos of you guys with these characters so we can share your pics. And we’re gonna be sharing what all of these tracks mean to us as you find them. #TheNewBrokenScene”.

Recently 5SOS performed an intimate gig for some of Northsound 1's listeners, watch the video of them performing 'Hey Everybody'.

The boys will be on tour next year so grab your tickets now from Northsound 1 Tickets.
