Michelle Ferguson - Charity Manager

“I joined Northsound Cash for Kids in August 2010 as a volunteer, coming in two days a week to help with admin. In March 2021 I was offered a part time role as administrator which developed into Charity Executive and in 2015 I was promoted to Charity Manager.”

“I have watched the charity grow over the years and adapt during challenging times. Never has the need for support been more in demand than it is now our local area.”

“We receive calls regularly from professions working with families in urgent need of a hand up and I am always so thankful when we are in a position to help. This wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for the ongoing support we receive locally from people donating to us.”

Lou joined Northsound Cash for Kids in September 2018 and has enjoyed getting to know the charity and the people we help.

“I think the first thing that struck me almost straight away was that everyone you meet wants to help – it’s my job to show them how.”
