Woman Taken To ARI After City Centre Flat Fire

A woman has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after a flat fire in the city centre.

The blaze broke out at the first floor flat on Hardgate at around 10:30am.

Fire crews, ambulance and police were called to the scene.

One female has been taken to hospital with suspected smoke inhalation.

Firefighters have now put out the fire, and have left the scene, and police have begun their investigations.

It is not yet known what may have caused the blaze.
