A group of current and ex-oil workers have protested against job cuts and rota changes throughout Aberdeen today.

The group, that call themselves 'The Furies', first demonstrated outside of the heli-ports at Aberdeen Airport, before making there way into the centre of town and targeting oil and gas companies headquarters.

They believe that offshore and onshore staff are being exploited during the current oil crisis - and want workers rights to be looked after.

The group wore anonymous guy fawkes masks in order to cover up their identities.

We spoke to one of the organisors, James Furie (not his real name).

The group were handing out leaflets and speaking to locals around the city centre, trying to spread their message. They say everyone has been affected by the oil crisis.

Since the beginning of the downturn in Summer 2014, over 65,000 people have lost their jobs in the industry.
