WATCH: Aberdeen City Council Release City Deal Video

Aberdeen City councillors have been shown a new video outlining plans for a city deal, before they are due to vote for or against the plans.

The special meeting is taking place at the Town House this morning.

Councillors are expected to approve the plans for a bid, which would see development such as the partial pedestrianisation of Union Street, a new Queen Square.

If approved, the bid would then be sent off to the UK Government, who would consider providing Aberdeen with the money to make the plans become reality.
