Union Terrace Gardens To Be 'Seed-Bombed'

Union Terrace Gardens is to be 'seed-bombed' this weekend.

The Friends of Union Terrace Gardens group, the event aims to create an explosion of colour in the gardens, which have been left in disrepair following a series of events held recently.

It will take place on Saturday from 9.30am until 11.30am, and people of all ages are encouraged to help sow the seeds to create an urban meadow.

The group will use a mixture of wildflower seeds will be mixed with sand and thrown onto the slopes of the gardens.

The group are working in conjunction with Aberdeen City Council on the project.
