Two men charged over Peterhead drugs bust

Two men have been arrested after Class A drugs with a street value of over £4,000 were recovered from a flat in Peterhead.

Two men have been arrested after Class A drugs with a street value of over £4,000 were recovered from a flat in Peterhead.

Police released the following statement:

"Police Scotland can confirm that a 28-year-old male from Liverpool and a 44-year-old local male have been charged following the recovery of diamorphine and 'Crack' Cocaine with a 'street' value totalling more than £4,300 in Peterhead.

An intelligence-led drug search warrant was executed at a property in the Longate area of the town on Saturday October 1 under the Operation Aspen initiative.
