Thieves hit supermarket cashpoint
Police are investigation an attack on a supermarket cash machine.
The ATM at the Tesco Express in Newtonhill, Aberdeenshire, is believed to have been hit in the early hours of today.
Police would not confirm reports that the machine, on Newtonhill Road, had been blown off the wall.
Officers are currently working to determine how much money, if any, was stolen.
Detective Inspector Stewart Mackie said: 'I'd urge anyone who may have been in the area or has any information to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.'
