The police are looking for witnesses after a 19 year old man was assaulted in Banchory.
It happened outside the Nile Takeaway at Bellfield carpark in Banchory at 1am on Sunday 18th September.
It is understood the man injured was involved in a disturbance with a number of other men aged between 20 and 25 and was then assaulted. The man sustained facial injuries and was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
PC Kerri Johnston said: "Around two or three females tended to the victim's injuries after the assault happened and there were also a number of other people in the area who may have witnessed what happened.
"We are asking for them to get in touch with us on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous as they may have information which could assist with our enquiries."
