String of car break-ins in Aberdeen's West End overnight
Several cars have been broken into in the West End of Aberdeen overnight.
Several cars were broken into and damaged overnight in the West End area of Aberdeen.
The cars targeted were parked in the Richmond Terrace, Union Grove, Rubislaw Place, Albyn Place, Queen's Terrace and Queen's Road areas.
They were all broken into overnight, in the early hours of this morning.
A number of personal items were taken and a significant amount of damage has also been caused to the vehicles.
West End Community Policing Team Sergeant Rob McLean said: "The vehicles targeted were parked in busy residential areas and we would appeal to anyone who was in the vicinity and saw anything unusual or suspicious to contact us because it may be able to assist us with our enquiries.
"I would also like to remind residents to consider their security and take all the necessary steps they can to prevent themselves from becoming a victim of crime. This includes ensuring that your doors and windows are locked and that any valuable items are removed and stored in a safe place or kept out of sight.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on 101."
