Shell have officially taken over oil firm BG Group.
Shell have officially taken over oil firm BG Group.
The deal, which is expected to be worth $68 billion, comes into force as of today.
The company says they will focus on deep water and liquefied natural gas.
In a statement, the firm said: "This follows the Court’s sanction of the Scheme at a hearing held on February 11, 2016 and the delivery of the Court Order to the Registrar of Companies today."
