Police Man Hunt Continues In Kincorth

Published 9th Apr 2015

Armed police in Aberdeen closed off a block of flats in the Kincorth area as part of a man hunt today.

It's the second day in the search for a male, which police say is wanted in relation to a drugs operation.

Yesterday, armed police were seen cordening off a group of properties near St Fittick's Road in Torry, but did not find the individual.

This afternoon the Kincorth Land flats were closed off as they believed the man may have moved into the area.

Residents in the flats were not allowed in or out of their properties as searches for the individual took place.

At 3:30pm armed officers were stood down, and police re-opened the flats.

They confirmed that they have not found the man they are looking for, and say searches will continue.
