Police looking for two men after Aberdeen assault

Police in Aberdeen are searching for two men following an assault in the Rosemount area of the city.

The attack happened at Skene Street near to the Nargile restaurant at about 4am on Sunday morning.

As a result a man in his 20s suffered minor injuries.

Officers are searching for two males who were seen in the area at the time, and were last seen heading towards Upper Denburn/ Jacks Brae.

Detective Sergeant James Callander said: "This was a distressing and unpleasant ordeal.

"I would urge anyone who was in the area that night and saw anything to contact Police Scotland on 101 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
