Police Appeal For Witnesses After Club Tropicana Assault

Police Scotland is appealing for witnesses after a 40-year-old man was assaulted by another man at around 02:40am on Saturday 17 October 2015 at Club Tropicana in Aberdeen.

The male suffered facial injuries in the incident and was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

PC Daniel Wilson of Aberdeen Division's Alcohol and Violence Reduction Unit said:

"This was an unprovoked assault on a man attending a night out with friends in Aberdeen City Centre.

"He was approached by a male and assaulted resulting in a serious facial injury. I would appeal for anyone with information or who saw anything to contact us."

The man involved is described as a white male, approximately 30 years old, average height and build, wearing a white shirt and black trousers.

PC Wilson added: "If anyone has any information regarding this incident please call us on 101, or the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous."
