Peterhead Lifeboat Rescues Two Fisherman After Boat Sinks
The RNLI Peterhead Lifeboat has taken part in a dramatic rescue of two fishermen, after their boat sank.
The two men had managed to climb onto rocks near Slains Castle, after the engine on their fishing boat cut out, and the boat began to sink.
The lifeboat lifted the men safely, where they were then taken to Cruden Bay Harbour. They were then met by the Coastguard and an ambulance.
The two men were found to be suffering from hypothermia and scratches.
