Oil Firm Total Sells Off North Sea Assets

Oil firm Total have sold off close to a billion dollars worth of their North Sea assets.

All of their interests in the St Fergus Gas Terminal and two pipelines are going to North Sea Midstream Partners.

The French company insist they're still committed to operating in the area for years to come.

Total said there would be no job losses and that all members of staff at the terminal would be transferred to the new operators.
