Oil Company Specialist Subsea Services Goes Into Administration
Aberdeen subsea company Specialist Subsea Services has gone into administration.
It means 77 jobs will be lost.
Accounting firm KPMG has been appointed as the administrators of the company, which was established in 2007.
A total of 77 of the company's 82 staff were immediately made redundant, and assets are being marketed for sale.
The group specialises in areas including remotely operated underwater vehicles and offshore survey.
It becomes the latest victim of the dramatic fall in oil price.
