Some North East schools are still facing problems after severe flooding struck the area.

Areas such as Kintore, Inverurie, Port Elphinstone, Ballater and Aboyne suffered from flooding all last week, forcing hundreds out of their homes.

Over 100 schools across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire also had to close as a result.

Today, Sandhaven School and Nursery is closed due to the power being off.

Alehousewells School is closed due to flood damage.

Kintore School is partially closed.

Aberdeen City Council says Portlethen School is also closed.
