Motorcyclist Dies in Serious A947 Crash

A motorcyclist in his 50's has been killed in a crash with a car on the A947 this morning.

The accident took place on the Turiff to Kind Edward road at Plaidy just before 7:45am.

The motorcyclist died at the scene, while the driver of the car was uninjured.

The road is expected to be closed for quite some time to allow crash investigations to take place.
