Man Who Stole Aberdeen Bus Appears In Court
A man appeared in court today (MON) after a bus was allegedly taken from a city depot at the weekend.
Hans Reid, of Aberdeen, was arrested after the bus was allegedly driven off from Aberdeen Bus Station at about 11:40am on Saturday.
Police claimed the bus collided with other vehicles as it was driven round city streets.
He appeared in private on petition at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today facing alleged road traffic offences claimed to have been committed on Saturday and Sunday.
The 26-year-old made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
His case was committed for further examination and he is expected to appear in court again at a later date.
