Man Jailed for Violent OAP Robberies
A drug addict's been jailed for three years for attacking and robbing two Aberdeen pensioners in their own homes.
24 year old David Dalgarno from Hilton Drive admitted carrying out two violent robberies.
He pushed his way into a 66 year old man's home, knocking him and his zimmer frame to the floor, before putting a carrier bag over his head and forcing him to hand over his wallet.
He made off with just £70 pounds.
In the second robbery he slashed the hand of a man in his 60s.
Aberdeen Sheriff Court heard Dalgarno knew both his victims - his own lawyer admits he used any kind of drugs he could get his hands own.
