A man has died following an incident at a recycling centre in Aberdeen.

A man has died following an incident at a recycling centre in Aberdeen.

The incident happened at EIS Waste Services in the Nigg area at around 2.30pm on Monday.

A man in his 30s died, police said.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: Police and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) are making inquiries following the death of a male in his 30s in the Nigg area at about 2.30pm today.

Inquiries are at an early stage and are ongoing to establish the circumstances.

As with all sudden deaths a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.''

EIS Waste Services describes itself as Aberdeen's longest-established skip hire specialists''.

The company refused to comment about the incident.
