Man Dies in A93 Crash Near Aboyne

A man has died following a two vehicle crash on the A93 this morning.

It happened near Aboyne just after 1am this morning, just west of Kincardine O'Neil.

It's not known if anyone else was injured.

The road was closed for 8 hours this morning. A police spokesperson said: "At around 01:09 hours this morning, Police Scotland received a report of a serious two vehicle road traffic collision on the A93.

"Sadly, as a result of the collision a male driver of a vehicle has died.

"Emergency services attended the collision."
