LISTEN: North East MSP Demands Answers Over Police Call Centre Closure

The Scottish Government's under pressure to reveal the scale of the staffing crisis at police calls centres in the North East.

Labour MSP Lewis Macdonald thinks almost half of those working at the Bucksburn centre have left - and not been replaced.

He'll be grilling the Justice Secretary today on the situation.

Both call centres in Aberdeen are earmarked for closure.

But a review earlier this month said staff numbers should be maintained until then, to prevent another tragedy like the fatal M9 crash which police failed to respond to for three days.
